Had this for a couple of years now. Great tool for figuring out what device is chewing up kwhrs. Basically told me I have a dehumidifier that was running way too much as it's humidistat worked poorly. This tool will answer power consumption questions eg Should I leave the computer on when I'm not using it? Or, How much electricity does my TV use when it's on or when it's off? (They need to make one for 220 volt use also. This is limited to 15 amps at 115 volt appliances.)Customer Review: Usage monitor can save money

Great device for under $30, except it cost me a lot of money to replace the two energy hogging 25yr old referigerators I had! One suggestion for improvement is a battery backed up memory. As soon as it is unplugged or circuit is interrupted for any reason the data is lost.Customer Review: P3 International P44000

It gave a quick and easy to understand electric usage for any household appliance. Can identify appliances that have a problem or are overconsuming power or allows you to evaluate power usage on an older appliance to compare to newer Energy efficient appliances.
