I bought the Attack Wave Pestrepeller a few years ago after discovering my mountain trailer had been partied in for months by a bunch of Risky Business rodents. After cleaning up I put out many trays of "treats," and also bought the Attack Wave Pestrepeller in hopes of wresting control of my trailer from the pesky intruders. During the past few years I've seen minimal evidence of rodent activity in my trailer, although activity continued in the compartment outside and below the living area. When I was up there last weekend I saw a sudden, noticeable increase in mouse-related activity. More bait had been eaten in the trailer, some insulation had been cosily deposited in a bait tray, and droppings were evident on the kitchen floor. It'd been a couple of years since I had been greeted by that kind of scene, so I was puzzled. That's when I noticed that the red light on my Pestrepeller was off, and that the cord was broken/chewed through. I'm still not sure if it was some brave mouse who took out the much-hated Pestrepeller, or if my 18 year old son had run over it with a vacuum as we were cleaning up at the previous visit. In any case, I now had an explanation for the sudden, disheartening increase in mouse mayhem. I wanted to let folks know about my discovery. This product isn't a total miracle, but it had obviously been quite helpful. I just ordered a new one.Customer Review: No more birds

I got this unit for my backyard, which was being overrun by squirrels, rabbits and crows.
I set it up in a raised area (about three feet off the ground) under my porch roof. Where I live it usually does not rain in the summer, so I figured the roof would be enough protection.
I definitely see less of the rodent population since I installed it - when I walked into the yard before there were probably a dozen rabbits and/or squirrels hanging out. I still see a couple, but they look nervous. :o)
But the main benefit seems to be with the pesty birds. There were four or five crows that would perch on my porch swing every day, and make a mess on it. From the very first day I turned the unit on they looked uncomfortable, and didnt stay more than a few minutes. They now seem to have decided to stay completely away.
I have also used the audible button to scare off flocks of small birds when they camp out.
I would guess the range to be about thirty feet from the unit - beyond that area the wild kingdom seems to be unaffected. :o)

I just moved into this house. I saw mouse droppings. I put traps out - I caught 4. So. I buy this thing, and put it in the places that all the mice were caught. AND every level of the house after, except for the top floor, where all the bedrooms are, because - generally mice aren't in that area.
I put out more traps, general same areas. Nothing caught. And these traps and my purchasing of this machine were all in the same week.
Now, when I'm all alone in the house, waking up from a nap, I can hear - something on the top floor. ALMOST rodent like. I'm NOT sure. But, paranoid, I've ordered another one of these devices to place in the hallway. I mean, every room I've put them in, I've yet to see droppings. Nor have I caught any since I got these devices well over a week ago. Possibly nearing two.
Sooooo.. I do *think* they work. Evidence says so, thus far. If anything changes (because I too was skeptical before buying this thing) I'll post.

We put 4 of these in a house we are fixing up out in the country. The house had been vacant for 5 years and the mice, etc had really set up residence. I am not sure if they are working because we are only at the house on a very limited basis while we are making it habitable. However I will say that I haven't seen any new signs of mice, etc. I know some people complained about the slight noise it makes but I don't hear anything but the light is on so I figure it is working. Since we don't spend the night there yet I can't comment on the sound at night. All in all I am happy with this product. I feel that they are working but since we are coming up on the winter months only time will really tell. I did receive these in the time frame given and without any damage. I would recommend this product and plan to order more for the upstairs as I only have one up there at this time. I don't like to see dead mice in traps and can't use poison so this is a great alternative.Customer Review: Attack Wave Pestrepeller

Usually, I would write a product review within a few days of receiving my item. But for the Attack Wave Pestrepeller, I thought I'd better give it an observation period before writing this review. A month ago, I went inside my garage and discovered that it was invaded by rats. My things have been damaged from the gnawing. The area was covered by rat droppings. Therefore, I searched the internet for a solution that would drive the rats away without having to see dead or alive critters. It has been 3 weeks since I have placed this ultrasonic device to use. I have not seen a rat dropping or gnawed item since. I wish I could tell the readers that this device worked alone. But the truth is, I purchased the Attack Wave Pestrepeller and the 100% peppermint oil at the same time. They were both put to use. So, it was probably the combination of irritating their sense of hearing and their sense of smell that drove them away. Hope this helps...
