I purchased this product for a unique space. I had a futon frame that I cut down to fit into a nook in my sitting room. The width of the frame was 42". and the nook 45". This mattress is 54" wide, and I was hoping it would squish nicely into my space, though I was skeptical. However, it has smushed into the space perfectly! Also, it is quite comfortable. I will be able to have friends sleep on it when they crash here, and it will serve during the day as extra seating for 1-2 people. I would recommend this product (which is also I think reasonably priced) to anyone with a space issue such as mine (the mattress is malleable, as I mentioned earlier), or just wanting a decent mattress for secondary sleeping.
