Customer Review: Cleared room on my power strips

Wish I had bought these years ago. I have six power strips underneath my computer table which mostly are running small power equipment (less than 1 amp, usually in the range of 200 mA to 500 mA) with power adapters plugged straight into the strip. Many of these power adapters seem designed to take up as much room as possible on a power strip.
The short power cables (Power Strip Liberators) moved the adapters off the power strip and freed up a lot of power sockets. I was able to remove 2 power strips entirely and its a lot cleaner and simpler looking now. No longer am I a slave to the design whims of the people making power adatpers.
Another advantage, the short power cables allow me to keep the adapters spread out further so they have more space to radiate their heat. When adapters are close together they can get really hot - a concern but never actually cause a problem.
I find these short power cables very useful and will be keeping some on hand for future needs. They seem well made and sturdy - but I have only been using them for a month now - so can't comment on longevity/durability.
