Bought this for a Kenmore refrigerator, but I think Whirlpool makes the unit for sears. Sears wants $35 plus shipping for this same filter with the Kenmore name on it so I started buying it for $30 at Lowes until they stopped caring it. Amazon is the cheapest place to get these!
Filter works perfectly as advertised and I have no problems to report what soever.

I ordered this filter as the first replacement for our 48" Dacor refrigerator. It works perfectly. The only issue I had was that Dacor did not document that the bottom grate (where the filter is located) had to be removed before the filter knob could be successfully turned! Unfortunately for Dacor, they had to pay for a service call to find out what was going on!Customer Review: Better price,same job

Very please with this water filter. This was my first purchase for the water filter on my fridge and I was hesitant since it was not the actual name brand of my fridge compatible filter...no probs. My fridge is a kenmore model # 59582990(model#found on inside of fridge )this filter fit just fine, I can't tell any difference from more expensive ones I have bought. It was shipped direct to my door arriving 1 day before I was quoted. Will purchase next one this same way without hesitation.
