Customer Review: Not too impressed with service and pls laser get a hilti

I have used hilti lasers in the past and continue to, but i thought i would get something differnt. it was a mistake, they might be slightly more accurate but at 100 ft the dots about the size of a quarter so it doesnt really matter. I really like the hilti for framing because its smaller and easier to use because its offset when you but it up is 1 inch vs like a 1 7/16 on the pls 5. the warranty is also very good on all hilti products the most you can spend to repair it is 30% and its free for 2 years. When working around knuckle heads and occasionally droping your tape when measuring the laser its going to get hurt. My tape slipped out of my hand and cracked the top viewing window and pls said it was going to be one hundred and fifty nine to fix, i spent three fourty on it, thats almost half for just a piece of glass. hilti also throws in a free calibration on every laser repair. Bottom line is that the hilti is the way to go. you spend slightly more up front but you get taken care of much better. Hilti is made in a tiny country by germany in centeral europe so the quality is there.
