Customer Review: Great tool! (slight learning curve)

I bought this took to run structured wiring in my house. I'm using the Belden 7915A cable with T&B SnapNSeal SNS1P6 connectors, and have been totally pleased with it!
There is a bit of a learning curve. As somebody else stated, the tool doesn't come set up for F connectors. Reverse the silver knurled head in the tool so that the narrow part is facing the jaws that hold the cable. Then set the front of this knurled part to about the 6 mark on the tool, and you'll get solid crimps. Initially, I was using the flaring tool to try to make the connectors go on easy. I found it very difficult or almost impossible to get the connectors on if flared more than a tiny bit as the insulation jacket diameter gets slightly larger. It is FAR easier with this combination of parts to just push the fitting on without flaring at all, so I guess I won't need that tool right now.
I purchased a 500ft spool of cable, these tools, and 100 connectors and have about $175 into the whole thing for professional quality connections. I'd have that much into getting a service guy out to the house once!
