Customer Review: Great way to finish off your professional q-see CCTV install

If you have the paladin compression tool (these DO NOT work with the compression tools that look like a hand squeze exercise device) then this is the right connector for the bulk cable from q-see with the siamese power cable to run your camera.
Just note that the 1/4" tolerances need to be adhered to when stripping the cable pretty close or you will get a bad crimp. Also - if you use this on siamese cable of any type - be sure to take a sharp knife and trim off any of the web that goes between the two parts. If it gets into the crimp area you'll run into trouble there and wish you removed it
In general, with paladin RG-59 have a blue seal while rg-6 have a black seal - but this paladin color code doesn't work across manufacturers. Make sure your crimps match your cable type or they will either not go on or come right off.
Done right you will have a neat and professional job with great picture quality in the end for CCTV. I do not generally recommend RG-59 for TV antennas or CATV application - those should be wired with RG-6, as well as satellite dishes.
