I purchased this to use as a centerpiece for a beach theme dinner party. I filled the galvanized oval with clean sand, scattered some shells and tea lights amongst the sand, and placed a large conch shell filled with white flowers in the center. Beautiful. And best of all, after the party, I had a lovely oval tray to serve drinks on the back porch.
