I bought this product as I had read about its amazing mineral content. The article suggested taking this as a suppliment (it is, in general, used as a fertilizer). I also saw a Youtube video of a health fanatic who talked about taking this as an aid to getting the best quality minerals, as Azomite comes directly from the earth. Unfortunately, it also contains lead, which I didn't realize before I bought. I stopped using it after finding out about the lead.
