AM/FM stereo radio and hearing protector all in one! Includes audio jack and scanner patch cord to enable user to listen to race broadcast and scanners simultaneously. Batteries not included. U.S.A.Great for ear protection at noisy speedways and events, the Peltor Racetunes AM/FM radio hearing protector reduces noise to a safe 22 dBA. A patented, stainless steel headband and liquid gel ear cushions ensure optimal comfort for the entire day at the track. Because the radio tunes in to race broadcasts or music programs, you'll always be in the mix. The Racetunes also comes equipped with an audio jack and scanner patch cord for quick connections. This model requires two AA batteries (not included) for more than 180 hours of battery life.

I purchased these for use at the dragstrip. They broadcast announcements etc over a short range fm station so everyone can hear. These work pretty well. My only dislike would be that it is a little difficult to locate a specific station on the dial since there are no markings and they are over your ears so you couldnt see the markings even if they were there.
Iwould by them again.
