I had more books than shelving, so my fiance and I went to Target for a quick fix. We found this wonderful bookcase that looks expensive but was actually very reasonably priced. This just fits in the small space between the closet door and the corner in our apartment. It looks great and actually perfectly matched the newly purchased bedroom furniture. Best of all, it easily fit into the back seat of the car but didn't need assembling. Since we bought this at the end of a long day of cleaning and furniture shopping, it was a relief to be able to just come home and set up the bookcase. It is truly a beautiful piece and an incredible design.Customer Review: Couldn't be easier and looks great!

I already own the dolce desk, filing cabinet and coffee table so naturally I couldn't wait to have the folding bookcase as well. No assembly required, music to my ears!! Ot of the box, stand it up, place it where you want it, done. Took 2 mins from box to books. It arrived in perfect condition. I see a lot of people mentioning the Dolce collection is more of a cherry color than a dark walnut and I *guess* I can sort of see that, but I like cherry better anyway, looks warmer and richer. But it is walnut colored, cherry is much more red. This bookcase is worth at least double the price I paid ($39.99) you won't be disappointed.Customer Review: Super Easy Assenbly, Looks Great

I got this bookcase from the store because I wanted to take a look at it before the purchase, but you won't be sorry buying this on line either! The box does say "Assembly needed," but it was THE EASIEST assembly I ever experienced -- you just need to unfold the bookcase. In addition, this sold wood book case looks just great. I bought 2 for the guest bedroom to display my stuffed animals and nick-nacks, and they are perfect!
Just one thing, I wish they make a little lighter colored one too -- maybe oak color. However, I'm very happy what I've got.Customer Review: GREAT bookcases! Don't stop at one!!!

I, like another reviewer, bought three of these at Target three and a half years ago, and decided I finally needed a fourth to hold my DVDs, because really, who wants to spend forty bucks on a DVD cabinet when you can get something much better that coordinates with your decor for ten bucks more???
As that same previous reviewer mentioned, I, too, moved after purchasing these bookcases, and it was SO much easier to just box up my books, fold these flat, and go! They're worth every penny you'll spend on them! And they'll look GREAT in your home!!!

Ordered the Dolce Dark Walnut folding bookcase as a gift for my husband. Wanted something in dark wood, not too large or heavy but sturdy looking.
This one was perfect. It coordinates with our dark furniture, fits perfectly in the corner of the room and stands solidly on the carpeted floor.
There's just enough shelf space for his needs. Best of all, even though it came with instructions, just had to stand upright, open sides, and drop shelves down. For a man who doesn't read instructions until things go wrong, couldn't have bought a better unit.
