This is a great bookcase. I'm a college student and this is perfect for my needs. It took all of 5 seconds to unfold it and lock it into place. Before I bought mine, my roommate had bought a different brand and kind of bookcase. He had to call the maintenance man, who took 15 minutes piecing it together with tools. Not so with my folding bookcase.
I really can't imagine an easier bookcase to install. And it looks great, too. It's the one piece of furniture with class in my room.

I purchased one of these for my home office after my experience with other products in the Dolce line. I now plan on buying a couple more. This item is great! High quality at an affordable price. Just pop it out of the box, and start stacking on your books. There's plenty of room for plenty of books. It has a very attractive finish, and your friends will never guess what you really paid for it! Especially nice alongside with other pieces in this line. We bought this shelf for our daughter, she is just a baby, but is quickly collecting books. The shipping was quick and my husband had no problem setting up the bookshelf, as it was assembled right out of the box, all you had to do was unfold the slats. It matches perfectly with her crib and dresser, nice dark wood. The quality is excellent for the price. We also own the Dolce Dark Walnut computer desk and hutch with matching file cabinet. Ok, so I'll admit that at first (especially after reading other reviews about receiving it damaged) that I was a little hesitant about ordering this item online. I even checked out the store to see if I could purchase it there...but to no avail. I finally decided to purchase it online, and it is a great looking piece for the price. I will admit it's smaller then I thought it was, but the look it has is great. I'll be purchasing more from the Dolce collection!Customer Review: NO TOOLS NEEDED!

The folding bookcase was on sale and of course it was sold out and not available. I was notified on line and proceeded to order several and the price was of course not on sale which upset me a bit as the sale price was excellent! It's a great piece and being able to just take it out of the box and unfold was such a relief! I have purchase ALOT of furniture on line and putting some of the items together have been a nightmare! Target, great item.
