I've been looking at bookcases for a while and to buy something similar in this color and with style costs more than twice the price. I was a bit apprehensive about picking this one up because the maple cd tower that I had a while ago was flimsy. Surprisingly, it's very sturdy, matches perfectly with the rest of my furniture and best of all, there's no assembly required. I was looking for one or two open-styled bookcase to put in a relatively small area and these bookshelves were perfect!! I bought them in the light wood and they look so stylish without overwheleming the rest of the room. They were also sooooo easy to assemble, except for the part where the shelves drop down into place... I didn't read the directions and mashed my finger! (ouch!) Simply put, this bookcase is an incredible value for its price.
Assemly is a snap - Fold the sides out, and the shelves fall into place. I have 2 of these now, and considering 2 more.
These are also strong bookcases - I have each one loaded with books, and not one problem. The bookcases have even been moved around fully loaded, and they still stand up. This is an excellent product at a terrific price.Customer Review: Great Inexpensive Bookcase

I bought this bookcase several months ago and I love it. It looks nice, is extremely sturdy (even withstanding my toddler's attempts to climb it around all the books), the finish matches antiques in the room, and nearly everyone who visits comments on what a nice little shelf it is. Dolce 4 shelf folding bookcase-I really like this bookcase. It is different than other folding bookcases as it has a deep bottom shelf and a narrower top shelf. Still supports books but is not stackable (which I didn't want). It is solid and very easy to set up. It comes well packaged. Also provided is contact information if something is not right but all was exactly as described.
