I was looking for a couple of bookcases for my sitting room and came across these on the website. They arrived very quickly and were in very good condition. They are just the right height. Not too tall and not too short. You can put a few tall items on the top shelf to give it more height if you'd like. I love that these shelves are already put together! Also, they are very light (I had no problem carrying them to different rooms in my house by myself) and very sturdy (they can hold massive medical textbooks just fine!). The best part is the way they look--I have 4 lining my study for the price of one similar shelf from pottery barn ($200) and they look just as expensive.Customer Review: very good buy

I have been telling everyone about this shelf. This could fit anywhere and you cannot do better with the price. I have two of these shelves in my bedroom/office and it holds many heavy books and displays beautifully some picture frames. It would look nice in the leaving room as well and even in the kitchen. Picture doesn't do this unit justice. It's solid wood and a BEAUTIFUL dark wood walnut finish. the fact that it easily folks up flat and is still rock solid stable when it's unfolded is really kind of a marvel of engineering. We liked the first one so much we ordered another for a matching set :) Not cheap crap, quality furniture and you can't beat that for the price.Customer Review: Another Target Find!

I bought my bookcase at a Target store. For the price, you can't beat it. Much better quality than what I saw at comparable retailers...actually better quality than a non-folding bookcase that I saw at higher-end store. At this price, I dont expect a family heirloom...just something that is attractive and stable that I won't mind giving away when my tastes change.
