What a versatile and wonderful pillow. My husband is a horrid snorer and the king of serial killers when it comes to pillows. In trying to find a pillow to curb his snoring problems, we have tried every kind... polyfiber, memory foam, down, feather and gel. We have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows. He pushes, smashes and pounds pillows in his sleep trying to make them fit the way he wants. Most pillows don't last a month with him. No amount of fluffing can restore them to usuable pillows. It was by accident that we found micro-beads. It was in a small toss pillow, but when he used it, we slept better. So, I set out to find a full sized "bean bag" pillow. Leave it to Amazon.com to have it.
I bought 2 for my husband. We put one in the included pillow cover and left one out. The pillow cover provides little room of movement of the beads and makes for a very firm pillow, great for side sleepers. Without the pillow cover it makes for a very squishy pillow, great for back sleepers or a cuddle pillow.
We love these pillows. I say we because once my husband gets up to go to work, I steal his pillows. The neck roll is comfortable. His snoring is almost completely stopped. He sleeps better and I sleep better. I love it so much, I am here to buy myself a set.

I was a little sceptical about ordering this pillow, because I needed a better pillow to sleep on, and you never know what your getting when you order online. I can honestly say that this pillow is wonderful. Like the other review, I recommend that a person sleeps with this pillow without the special cover that comes with it. The special cover makes the pillow too hard. Now, if you like firm pillows (and some people do) then use it by all means. I have just found satisfaction in putting my regular pillow cover over it and using it that way.
I have had better sleep and have not had any more backaches in the morning when I wake up after using this pillow. The first night I slept on it I immediately felt a difference in my body the next morning when I woke up. The first minute or two, it takes a little getting use to when you are use to sleeping on the regular pillows. However, you won't regret purchasing this pillow!! Buy it and sleep on it for ONE night. Then decide. Most likely, you'll keep it. Like I did. Great product!

I've now slept on this pillow for 2 wonderful nights. It's soft and cradles your head and neck. I haven't slept with it with the provided cover - though it's very soft, too. I think the cover constricts the movement of the beads, so it doesn't conform to your head and neck and feels hard. But for $30 I'm highly pleased with this pillow. I'll keep you posted about how it holds up and how it feels down the road.
--Two weeks later-- still love the pillow - put a loose fitting regular pillow case on it to protect it.
--Three Months Later-- still my favorite pillow purchase, may be a moot point, since Amazon does not seem inclinded to carry it any longer. I don't wake up with neck pain with this pillow - and I have lingering whiplash injuries (bulging discs).
--10 months later and final review. Still sleep with this pillow in a regular case. It's the still the best, though the long channel of microbeads has gotten less fluffy over time. I would still buy it again even if I had to buy one a year.

Every since someone recommended that i get a pillow like this I have been looking all over for it. They used to sell them at 'linen and things' but they have since closed. I've gone to most of the department stores but no one sells these. I've scoured the Internet market for it and finally came across this pillow on amazon so i purchased one. This pillow is incredible! I agree that it is a very firm pillow at first but as you use it more frequently the pillow starts to soften. Due to the price that it's currently selling for I had to purchase 3 more for family, my grand baby will sleep on nothing else (she loves the texture of the beads). The case that it comes with is nice and soft so you can use it just like that. I have had this pillow for sometime now and have not had any problems with the beads leaking. I would recommend this to anyone that is experiencing neck fatigue as it keeps your neck straight while sleeping. Objectively I have to include that not everyone may like the firmness initially but it does get softer.Customer Review: best pillow I ever slept with

I purchased this pillow in late February on a Friday sale for 18.99. I was skeptical, but the reviews gave me some hope that this might work for me. Like others have mentioned in their reviews, the cover seems to restrict the ability of the pillow to adhere to my head, neck, shoulder alignment, so I just use a regular pillowcase. I "work with" the shaping of the pillow to my head, neck, and shoulder until it "feels just right". I must say that I've never slept better and wake up without kinks in my neck and stiffness in my shoulders. I would like a better zip-up pillowcase though since my regular pillowcases often slip off the pillow during the night. I am now looking for a similar travel pillow that I can use on my long commute to work and back on trolley, bus, and sometimes train. Compact in size while still providing the gentle support required when I lean up to the side of the commuter vehicle to catch a few extra winks while I am traveling to my destination.
