I have to say that this was $$$ well spent. I've researched comparably priced pillows and several of the more expensive ones, read numerous reviews for all of them and really just did not expect to be able to see a difference so quickly with this pillow. I got it a few days ago and after the second night of sleep did NOT wake up with the same stiffness and soreness in my neck and left shoulder that I've experienced literally every night for the past year.
FYI - given the input from others (reviews), I opted not to try it w/ the provided cover.

I could not get a good nights sleep due to very bad neck and shoulder problems. I tried foam, feather, buckwheat, you name it I bought it, and got no relief. I found this micro bead pillow and after using it just one night I did not wake with a stiff neck and headache. I recently took a trip and after the first night without the pillow, the stiff neck returned. At the end of the trip all I could think of was getting back home to get a good nights sleep. I wish this pillow came in a smaller size that I could pack while I travel. This pillow is simply the best.Customer Review: Great for neck problems.

I have terrible problems with my neck and getting tension headaches. I always kept 3 different pillows available depending on how I felt. I really like this pillow because it can be squished and adjusted to whatever thickness is needed. I can just wiggle my head with a bit of pressure and it conforms to what I want. I also noticed an odor at first but that went away fairly quickly. I considered just tossing it in the dryer on air dry with a dryer sheet but the odor went away quickly enough that I did not have to. I highly recommend this pillow.Customer Review: Pros & cons

Read all the pros & cons about this pillow and do not find them accurate. We have not had loose beads,found it hard, etc, etc. All we know is that is softer without the strait jacket pillow case they supply, and simply put into a regular case to keep it clean, it is as we prefer it. All in all a superb pillow.
My wife has finally found relief from years of neck pain. I find it very comfortable also. We would recommend it as a superb choice at a decent price. Amazon had the best price for this item.

I'm kinda a pillow snob and I love this pillow. It's amazing, it feels just like those expensive ones you buy from Brookstone or the airport stores. It molds and mushes to just fit your head and neck. It's not too fluffy or too flat, it's just right. I love this pillow, hope to own more.
**update** I have now had it a few months, and I still love it, but it is getting a little flat, looks like it may need to be replaced once if not twice a year, but I think it's worth it.
