With reasonable expectations and intelligent use, this is a great tool for making watering your plants easier.... beats running back and forth to the sink with watering cans by a landslide. I bought a snap connector at Home Depot (about $7) and use that to connect it to my faucet... snap on, snap off... doesn't get easier. If you don't turn the pressure up too high (it's a small hose, let's have some common sense here - it's not the product's fault if you put too much pressure on it) and making sure I don't crimp it when pulling it out across the apartment.... it works beautifully. Like anything with screw together connections, occassionally you need to make sure nothing is working it's way loose... but that's no big deal. I've been using this for quite a while, with no serious issues. In fact, if this one eventually dies (which most things do), I'll probably buy the same ome... or maybe a longer one if I can find it. That you can lock the trigger in and not have to hold it down with your thumb to water is a bonus. That you can adjust the tip from a fine spray to a steady stream with a simple twist is also a very good thing.Customer Review: Needs a metal quick connector

Like this item and enjoy using it. I have many plants in the south and north side of my small condo and spent too many trips back and forth with my watering can. This is really perfect for many plants in different rooms and I fertilize with the can when needed. That said, I found the plastic threaded connector is too soft for multiple attaching and detaching without serious damage to the plastic threads. This was apparent the first time I tried to attach it to the metal part of the faucet because it felt as though I could not tighten it enough without stripping the threads and making a tight seal. I use this indoors at my kitchen sink so I need to put it on and off only at watering times. Getting a quick connect unit is the way to go. It is metal and all you have to do is attach by pushing it on and pulling the collar down to detach and your plastic threads will be saved.
