This Polder Tri-Leg Ironing Board is a wonderful new item. It has an expanded mesh metal top which allows for optimal steam flow from your iron. It has a patented iron rest which is made form high-heat silicone. Which includes a spray bottle holder and a shirt hanger rack. The one-piece pad and cover fiber fill and elastic bungee cord for a great fit. I received this item as a wedding gift. What the other review said was true of my board as well. It is not quite level, and sits on 3 legs. This is more of a problem on a hard floor than on carpet. It feels stable when ironing. I think the weight on it pushes the leg down.
I love the pocket for the iron. It feels very secure, and definitely keeps the iron out of the way. I've burned myself a number of times before from jostling an ironing board, and I think those days are over with this board. The board locks securely into place for moving, and is simple to set up.
Height adjustment is a fabulous feature. My 6' hubby and 5'3 me can both use it comfortably. It even lowers enough that I could use it while seated.
This ironing board is thicker than typical. It's a great feature except for trying to get into little crevices with the pointed end. The end is also thicker, so this may cause some people some problems.
Overall, however, I think it is one of our favorite and most useful gifts!
