Tools and Hardware Reviews of Polder 6631-75 Stainless-Steel Sink Strainer with Extending Rubber-Grip ArmsCustomer Review: Every Kitchen should have one of these Summary: 5 Stars
There is a book that Amazon carries that is called "The Ultimate Pizza Manual" that as part of the making their pizza says to buy this strainer. So i did.
While I make the pizza from that book (Excellent pizza too) my wife now uses this strainer almost every day.
We had never seen one of these before but man they are handy. From washing veggies to rinsing meats for prep before rubs, sauces and marinade. Along with draining hot noodles. All is done over the sink instead of sitting in the sink. No chance of burning your hands or getting sink back flow on your food as this suspends several inches from the sink floor.
For the pizza they just simply let you slide the pizza to the screen with out getting simolina or flour any where except the sink.
A super handy kitchen tool that will be used many different ways
Customer Review: you can't beat quality Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter was desperate for a strainer and she got TWO for her Birthday, one from her husband and this from me. The one from her husband was the rubber pop-up kind and seemed to be better suited until it broke after only a couple of months. She called to tell me that this was working beautiful and how glad she was I had purchased it for her. Goes ino the dishwasher, the stainless is study and no rust, it is a little bulky to store but she has tons of space so this is a keeper.
Customer Review: The ultimate kitchen strainer...a must for serious cooking! Summary: 5 Stars
This strainer outranks all the other strainers I have used over the years. You don't have to struggle with pouring one-handed while you hold onto the strainer. I use a 20-quart pot to cook spaghetti for a crowd, and it takes both hands to lift and pour. The Polder 6631-75 SS strainer will not slip and fall into the sink, and it's large enough to hold 2 full pounds of cooked spaghetti. It may hold more, but I haven't tested it. I really love it, and recommend it highly.
Customer Review: Love the feet on the bottom! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great strainer. The mesh is of the right size in straining out water from my washed produce. The basket is wide and deep and can hold a lot of stuff. The feet on the bottom prevents your washed food from being in contact with the sink. This is a great product. I clean it after dinner when I do the dishes every time I use it with, so cleaning is a breeze. I haven't had it long enough to see it rust.
Customer Review: Quality Strainer Summary: 5 Stars
This far exceeded my expectations. I put this strainer to work right away and found the quality very good. Sturdy, holds a lot and love those thick cushioned expandable arms (ultimate protection from scratches on your kitchen sink/counter area) Much, much better than other brands that use cushioned feet that eventually fall off. Highly recommend.
