This strainer works perfect...Stainless steel...love the way the arms extend. It also has feet on the bottom of the strainer. Saw the review about water trapped in lip on the bottom side of strainer when cleaning in dishwasher. I bought this Polder 6631-75 18/8 Stainless Steel Sink Strainer for my college age grandson and it appears to be surviving his less than tender care. It also keeps whatever he's straining out of the liquid in the sink, another of my concerns. I'll get another one for the younger boy when it's time.

This turned out way better than I expected. Price was great, product is awesome.
I have a single large sink instead of the doubles I used to have, hadn't thought of that when I bought it, but not to worry, the handles extend enough.
Now if only there was an easy way to clean strainers...

This strainer is super versatile. Don't know how I got by without it. Buying a few more to give to loved ones who can use them. Great for washing veggies, straining noodles, and even doubles as an extra drying rack when you run out of room. Fabulous, yet so simple.

I purchased this because I needed a large strainer for fruits and vegetables. I was a bit worried that it would be too big but it fits into my standard kitchen sink with no problem and it is really convenient to not have to use a strainer in batches.
