I purchased a blue tooth device for my wife that provides excellent hands free cell phone support in the car. The only weakness with the device was that you could only charge it in the car. If you don't want the wire for the charger hanging down in front of you, you use the device alot when you're in the car and you mostly take short trips in the car, when do you charge it. The answer was this device and it works perfectly as advertised. My wife and I are both very satisfied with this device.Customer Review: works for me

I bought this to power my car mp3 player [Soundfly SD WMA/MP3 Player Car Fm Transmitter for SD Card, USB Stick, Mp3 Players (iPod, Zune)] at home. Works great. 1A output is more than enough. Absolutely no line noise, no problems. Folding prongs are a plus for easy storage. Price is right (would cost more than twice this to build myself).Customer Review: 1000mw will power iPod Touch 3G

This combined with a Belkin Model F8Z184 car charger adapter powers my iPod Touch 3rd Gen perfectly. Other adapters put out only 500-800mw. 500mw will not even let the iPod recognize the power supply. 800mw will allowing charging, but if you try to use the iPod while on the charger, the display will go crazy or the sliding on-button won't slide over to allow it to turn on.
This adapter fully powers the iPod. Works great.

I compared similar products and the reviews and thought this one should do the job for a reasonable price. Along with charging low draw electronic I wanted it to power a 12 volt inflator. I could blow up an air bed from the car, but not in the house, this solved the problem perfectly. I figure that's the top 'draw' I'll experience and also guess it's pretty high, it performs flawlessly. Now it just need to last.Customer Review: Only got a car charger?! Solved!

The adapter unit is 1000mA UL Listed, with folding wall socket blades, and an attached end cap on the cigarette lighter socket as well. A well made adapter ... It's easily packed, stored, or carried. It is the solution for devices like my Jabra BT5050 speakerphone which only comes with a car cigarette lighter charger. Jabra charges perfectly Indoors now.
