Handy little humidity gauge, it's about the size of a silver dollar so you need to be near to read it. The Sellers picture made it look like the size of a pie plate so I was a little disappointed at first but it works fine and I like the mounting device, a flat magnet so you can stick it anywhere. Thats what it is. Simple, inexpensive. Magnetic mount, or sticky, it can be placed just about anywhere. It has a classy look about it, like you would put it in your humidor, but I am not a cigar aficianado, I just wanted to measure the relative humidity in an analog fashion. So whatever your curiosity with humidity, this is your gauge.Customer Review: good product

This Analog Hygrometer look really nice, I tested it with hydrometer calibration with salt and water in a sealed bag and got a perfect reading right at 75%, the Hygrometer should be calibrated every year to maintain precision, and this Analog Hygrometer can be calibrated(adjusted) - many electric one cannot. The hygrometer was just the right choice at the right price to provide an accurate indicator of humidity. Best feature is its magnetic back which allows you to place it at eye level on any metal feature. Display is easy to read. Sensitive and precise enough for general data needs. I have received this hygrometer and tested it yesterday using the salt in a sealed container method. You can research how to do this online.
I checked it after 12 and 24 hours and the needle was dead on 75% humidity as it should be.
Very accurate and very inexpensive. My only regret is that I only purchased one.
