This is a nice gauge. It's small, about 2 1/4" wide. It feels well made and works great. I did calibrate it using the baggie method with salt. Search Google with "calibrate humidity gauge". It may not even need it, so compare with another gauge if you have one. I use it in the basement to monitor the humidity level.Customer Review: works for me

I stuck this on the side of our air purifier to give me an idea of when to use the humidifier in my daughter's room. My uncle tested it against his new weather station, and it seems to work fine. This product seems to works well. It is adequate for basic humidity checks. It has a little sticker backing if you want to place it on the wall or something. This is by no means the most accurate analog hygrometer I have ever owned, but it was easier to calibrate that some I have had in the past. Given the price I did not expect extreme accuracy, so that is hardly a detractor. I like this product, it looks really nice with the shiny bronze finish, the compass is also really pretty. the end of the pointer looks like the moon. It is easy to read the humidity level and seems to be the correct humidity level reading all the time when i check it.
