1/2 the cost of another model - but totally functional.
I do wish the two flat "hooks" on each side looked like this "L". Instead they are more like an Arial "L"s (without the hook). That means you need to get them mounted directly above where they hook and be more careful about moving the bike as you hoist it. The anti-drop rope stops work well enough to be the sole clamp when hoisted. I tie off the rope to the provided cleats but without tension. I have a wheelbarrow hanging from one of them.

This is a great product for the price. I took some time to set up the system by making some wood 2X4 mounts for the pulleys as my beams run parallel to the orientation of the bikes. The joist beams are not thick enough to mount this system. The home made mounts were "I" shaped 2X4 mounts and the setup works great! The locking mechanism seems pretty sturdy.....I have not has a bike fall or slide unexpectedly. I would buy more if I had more bikes.Customer Review: Fantastic and easy to install!

Talk about an easy way to uncluttered your garage. You can use it on bikes, you can use it with furniture, you can put a couple together with a palette and lift anything you want up to the ceiling. It installs in minutes. I have four of these in my garage. Many of my friends have also installed them after seeing them up. I have yet to hear a complaint. They are super sturdy, work like a charm, and are kinda fun to use. Give it a try!Customer Review: Saves a lot of space in my studio apartment

Great product. I will put this up first-thing the next time I move, it saves a ton of space in my little studio. I've been using it now for over 6 months and was worried that the low cost would equal bad quality. I am glad I trusted the other reviews instead of purchasing something more expensive.
FYI: Had to use a hammer drill because my apartment ceiling is made out of cement. Well worth the extra effort to put it up.

I bought three of these units to help eliminate the clutter in the garage. I have them installed and they all work very well. I looked at more expensive units from other companies but these units are just as good and much cheaper. They do take some time to install but there they are worth it because they really do free up space in the garage. You will not be disappointed with these units and I highly recommend them.
