I bought 2 of these. They were easy to put up and work great. One is over the front of my truck and the other is over the front of my wife's car with plenty of clearance. The RAD Cycle Hoist is a decent product for a great price. Quality of construction is average, but for my use it is adequate. The RAD Cycle hoist allowed me to gain valuable garage space. Compared to my old wall mount bicycle storage hooks, the RAD Cycle Hoist is much easier to use. No more back-breaking lifting my bicycles over my head while I try to hook a tire. Don't be concerned...I guess you could pick aspects of it apart (better rope? more curved hooks?) but you can not beat it for the price, simple, quality is good, works easily. Worked safely right out of the box. I mounted it to a 2x4 piece of wood first and then you can screw that to or across your ceiling joists, makes installation much simpler and then if you ever want to move it will be much simpler.Customer Review: Don't let the cheap price scare you away!!

We were a bit nervous with these bike hoists for the garage because they were so inexpensive. We decided to give them a try and wow, they work like a charm. No more back breaking work hauling them onto hooks or racks, you clip a hook by the handlebars and one behind the seat and start pulling the rope. Easy as can be. Use your effort in biking, not storing the bike. We highly recommend them.Customer Review: Perfect Solution

We bought two of these for our bikes at the beach. We have very limited storage, but the ceiling is very high under the house. I am 6'8" tall, and I can walk under the bikes with plenty of room to spare...plus my 5'2" 100 pound wife can raise and lower the bikes easily. Ingenious in their simplicity, it was a breeze to install on the exposed joists with the help of my son. I would recommend.
