Tools and Hardware Reviews of RAD Cycle Products Ceiling Mount Bike HoistCustomer Review: Working exactly as needed Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased two of these mounts to help clear out space in the garage. We have 10' ceilings in the garage, and needed something that would both provide the lift, and have enough rope to make it the extra few feet.
The product was easy to install, worked flawlessly, and provided exactly the function we were looking to get.
Customer Review: Easy to use Summary: 5 Stars
THis product was easy to install and easy to use. Only complaint would be that the hardware to attach it to the ceiling joists was not in the package. I had to go to the hardware store to get those items. Even if you do not attach them to the joists, you still have to have wood to attach to the ceiling and then attach the hoist.
Customer Review: Up, up and away! Summary: 5 Stars
Old technology, new idea! It's a great way to hoist your bikes up and out of the way for more garage storage space. Anyone with some do-it-yourself skills can have it installed in about a half hour. Pulleys make it easy for even a small person to hoist a heavy (or light) bike all the way up to the ceiling in seconds. Great product!
Customer Review: Great gadget Summary: 5 Stars
This was a bit tricky to install, but once we got started, it was fairly easy. One note: do not try to adjust the bike while it is suspended! My boyfriend did, and it slipped off the holder and he caught it before it landed on us. Other than that, I love the product. Its easy to use, and I like that my bike is out of the way.
Customer Review: L.O.V.E. I.T. Summary: 5 Stars
I love it. It works great. Very easy to install. If you live in a crappy NYC apartment like I do with crappy ceilings, make sure you get heavy duty metal butterfly anchors. The only complaint I have is that the hooks should be a little heavier so that they come down evenly. But, hey, for $15 who cares! It's great.
