Mine is a little bowed but my mom's is fine so I'm assuming maybe mine was just a fluke or got damaged in the mail, etc. In either case, the little flaw was not enough to make me rate it anything less than 5 stars. This piece is large and holds lots of ribbon but is unobtrusive. I have tons of ribbon on it but still have tons of room left.
Scrapbookers, yes this is for you! I store all my scrapping ribbon on it. Michaels, Offray, Wrights and other spools fit on these dowels. May Arts spools don't fit on it but I've had my hubby drill larger holes in the spools or instead, you could do what my mom did and just put smaller dowels in hers. Both options work.
I've hung mine on the wall, but it can also go over a door, if your door is wide enough. Vendor is great, shipping is fast and excellent, the item is easy to assemble...all around great!
