Sturdy and works well. I use mine to hold my rechargeable batteries (Sanyo Eneloop, which are amazing rechargeable batteries by the way). Before I got this, my batteries were lying around on countertops and in the desk drawer. This makes it convenient to keep all my batteries in one location. The tester works well, even if it seems like its made from slightly inferior plastic. The 'C' and 'D' size battery compartments work well for holding the Eneloop adapters, which are the same size as the batteries they emulate. I haven't tried to hang it on the wall yet, but I think it should be able to withstand the weight of all the batteries.Customer Review: Great organizer

I purchased this item because we had been storing our batteries in a zip-lock bag in a cabinet in our kitchen. When the unit arrived, I was somewhat disappointed that one corner was broken off where the screw hole was, but I was able to super glue that back. I mounted my unit in our pantry on the side of a shelf rack. Now I have easy access to all the batteries and can see at a glance how many we have or if we need to get more. The battery checker works ok with all but the largest batteries, with those it takes some finess to get the battery turned just right to check it. I didn't however purchase the unit for the battery tester. I would highly recommend the unit.Customer Review: Handy dandy - wish I had two

I have so many rechargeable batteries that when I collect them out of the toys and games and other stuff for regular re-charging, this thing is filled! I love that it has a little detachable battery tester at the top. My 11-year-old frequently mixes up the old with the fully charged and now he can even use this to see which are the right ones to use. I wish it had more space for AA's but that's just a personal preference.
I was easily able to find fresh batteries during our last round of big storms and power outages. The batteries are now organized and I'm not wasting time checking the dates on alkaline batteries or mixing old with new.

I had dozens of batteries lying all over my apartment. The testing tool allowed me to discard a few used ones, and to discover that I have enough batteries for years to come. It also provides an excellent storage space that fits perfectly into my kitchen drawer giving me easy access to batteries when I need them. My favorite aspect of this tool is the ability to change only 1/2 or 1/4 batteries in any tool that is low on energy rather than replace all four. That saves money. I strongly recommend this tool. I only wish it was also designed only for AAA + AA batteries since those are much more commonly used, but that problem is easily solved.Customer Review: Great Organizer!

After years of deciding if I really wanted to buy one of these I gave in. I am so happy I did. Being a mother of two children under the age of 4 we have tons of toys that take batteries and I can never seem to find them or when I do they are dead. This solves both problems. Not only do I now have a place to store all of our batteries I can check the ones that I sometimes find under furniture or other odd places. I highly recommend this product to all mothers. We have ours hanging right inside our basement doorway so it's out of the way but convenient enough for us to just open the door and grab them.
