I have tried at least a dozen different reading lights and this is by far the best.
The light beam is broad enough to cover the entire page of the book I am reading. So, I am not constantly having to adjust the light.
When I turn or roll over it is simple to reposition the light and it stays put. No more wiggly light any time I move or adjust a page.
Try it you will enjoy night time reading again. And so will your spouse.

finally! a book light worth buying! this is the best one i have had so far. i'd rather the light behind me than clipped to my book and this works just great. i used to use a tap light but the batteries never lasted long enough and the light was not bright enough. but with this pillow light, it's perfect. tons of light and the batteries seem to last. (though it does take quit alot of batteries) i even bought one for my son to use when he goes to bed and he loves it!Customer Review: Just about the perfect book lamp!

Very bright focused beam allows for easy and comfortable reading without disturbing roommates. Head swivels and bean-bag bottom allows for easy placement on nightstands, pillows, headboards, etc.
Does not have any sort of automatic shut off function, so if you fall asleep with it on all night a few times expect to replace the AAs frequently. Had it since March and no need to replace yet.
You'll enjoy it.

Finally! A book/utility light you don't need three hands to use! The pillow at the bottom of this handy little gadget means you can plop this dandy almost anywhere. Slanted surface? No problem! And the little bubble that holds the light swivels up and down, in case you need even more flexibility! I hate to see Amazon is out of stock on these -- I'd buy two or three more! I read in bed all the time with this light and I also read to my daughter before bed with it. I am able to keep the room fairly dark, keeping the "bedtime" ambiance going with her, but she can see all the pictures and enjoy the book as we read. Well worth it at the price Amazon is charging. My wife also appreciates it as I am normally up a lot later than her reading.
