I bought ten of these after reading the reviews. They're gorgeous. I'm renting a house and didn't want to spend a lot of money covering the endless amounts of windows in the house (26 windows). Think Hunter Douglas "Silhouettes" [...] for a tiny fraction of the price. That the effect you get, only the fabric is categorically cheaper in these Redi Blinds. Still, they're not offensive at all -- in fact, they're incredibly unoffensive and give you a lot of look (like the Silhouettes) while tricking the eye. They're extremely elegant, despite how inexpensive. I found them at Lowes for $6.50 each (!) after searching Amazon, thinking I'd find the best price here. You can do a product search on Lowes's website to see how many they have in stock before you drive around town.
You can't go wrong here. I'm going to try to upload some photos tomorrow to show what they look like during the day and at night.
I bought the fabric and they're holding up brilliantly. The little plastic clips ... not very attractive, so I replaced them with child-size decorated hair clip. Think "mini clothespin" all decorated. That's what I use instead. They cut very easily. I used a bread knife after reading a review where someone else used one. It works perfectly. They hang in seconds. Instant gratification and so much look for so cheap.
