Tools and Hardware Reviews of Richell 3-Bin Recycling Tower

Customer Review: Works Great!
Summary: 5 Stars

It's a great size for my condo. It tucks into my laundry closet and since it's vertical it's a great use of the space. Keeps everything organized and out of the way.

Customer Review: Recycling Tower
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an excellent recycling organizer because it is not too big yet holds lots! It is attractive to look at and compliments most interiors.

Customer Review: Answer to recycling woes
Summary: 5 Stars

What a great product! I like the fact it is a vertical storage unit. The baskets are easy to remove and somewhat easy to reinsert.

Customer Review: Wonderful size, but a little flimsy
Summary: 4 Stars

I wanted a stacking recycle bin that would take up less floor space in my kitchen. This narrow tower is ideal. I use one bin as a kitchen hamper (bibs, towels), one for cans and glass, and one for paper. Each bin has a little tab foot that makes it easy to tilt the bin open. The bins also remove easily from the frame; I take out the bins when emptying them, rather than lining them with bags.

My only complaint is that the tower parts are a little flimsy. Each bin has some black arms in it. They're not strong enough to carry the bin, so perhaps they're only for securing bags. Two of our bins arrived with broken arms (moot for us, but perhaps not for you). Also, the bins don't hold much; in a household of two adults and a toddler, we empty them about three times a week. But I don't think a different system would hold more, unless it took up more floor space. Overall, we're pleased.

Customer Review: A little flimsy, but mostly OK
Summary: 4 Stars

The construction is a little flimsy from what I would expect for the money but it stands up pretty sturdy and once it is in place it's relatively secure.

Not sure what others are talking about with the space issues. We have no problems, it stores more than we can fit in our outdoor Blue-Bin. Maybe you should crush the plastics first? Milk jugs don't take up much room if properly taken care of.

For the money I'd expect it to be stronger, but it's just about perfect for its' intended use.
