I was disappointed with the quality of this bullnose rabbet plane. I found that the sides of the plane were not square with the bottom of the plane. The iron wedge that holds the plane iron at the proper angle was visibly thicker on one side where it met the base. This caused the plane iron to be extended higher above the base on one side. To achieve a uniform cut, I have the plane iron set at a slight angle to compensate for this problem. The plane iron is not very well made. The opening cut in the plane iron for the adjustment screw was off to one side and I had to file it out so that the opening was centered in the blade. The iron itself is much softer than any of my other plane irons so it will become dull faster. I would not recommend this plane to anyone. It would be much better to invest in a quality plane.
