Description of Robert Sorby H0506 Multi-Tip Hollowing Tool

Combines a shear scraper with a hollowing tool and includes two double-ended HSS hollowing tips, HSS cutter, Allen? key and full instructions. Swivel tips can be set at any angle for hollowing in blind holes and undercutting.

Customer Review: Great for bowl making

I got this while struggling to make bowls where the rim is narrower than it's widest point using a conventional bowl gouge. I am not doing the narrow aperature hollow forms, just slightly narrower rims.

I also found that the rotating scraper let me avoid having to buy a bunch of scrapers. I still use my heavy duty outboard scraper on bowls, but for my less common scraping tasks, I avoided having to buy tools that I would only use occasionally.
