Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rowenta DA-35 Latitude 35 Compact Iron with Dual Voltage for TravelCustomer Review: I finally found a travel iron that actually works!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Over the years I have purchased a number of travel irons, only to be disappointed when they did not do the job. I resigned myself to wearing wrinkled clothes on vacation. But I have to say the Rowenta has made a believer out of me. Unlike most travel irons, this heats just as well as an home iron and it does an excellent job when it is used as a vertical steamer. And the nylon carry case is a plus.I cannot recommend this product enough. Buy with confidence.
Customer Review: At Last a Travel Iron That Works Summary: 5 Stars
My husband and I travel quite extensively and have purchased several travel irons in the past only to be disappointed in their performance. They usually don't get hot enough or they don't steam. This iron, irons as well as my full sized iron that I use at home. I would definately recommend this iron to any one who travels, especially for cruisers since cruising entails packing a lot of dressy clothes which always need some touching up before you can wear them.
Customer Review: Fabulous for Sewing and Crafting!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This little iron is a powerful tool for those who sew or use fabric in crafting. It is small enough to maneuver and the temperatures are accurate so that you don't damage your fabrics. There is no leakage, if you don't overfill the reservoir and follow the instructions to use tap water. It would be nice to see a teflon coated soleplate, but that isn't a deal breaker. I definitely think this is worth purchasing and would gladly recommend it to anyone.
Customer Review: great quilting iron Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this iron to keep by my sewing machine while quilting. It is lightweight and gets nice and hot. My regular iron is much heavier and I was starting to experience shoulder pain from rotating my arm around while sitting to grab the iron to press a quilting piece.
I had tried one of those crafting irons (the one with the little triangular tip) but it was awkward and stopped working after two uses. I really like my new Rowenta iron!
Customer Review: Great Travel and Patchwork Iron Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second Latitude DA-35 iron. I love this iron. Great for transporting to quilting classes. Compact but not so small that is not useable. It gets very hot which is great for piecing. The only reason I purchased a new one is because repeated dropping on a concrete floor rendered the first one unusable. Certainly not the fault of the iron, it survived many drops during the six years of use before giving up.
