I bought this iron for my wife, but I wound up using it more for business trips. Irons provided in hotel rooms are usually of low quality, plus they leak or streak on your clothes. This travel iron from Rowenta has the ability to generate lots of steam, and removes wrinkles as good if not better than a full size iron. I have had good experience with products made by Rowenta, plus the product is made in Germany!Customer Review: Terrific iron... for travel or not.

This iron is great. I bought it to take with me to London and its compact size fit very nicely into my suitcase; it also comes with its own travel case. The iron heats up fast and has a very slick surface. I even use it at home sometimes instead of my full size iron because it gets into small spaces that aren't as easily reached with a big iron. It is easy to change voltages, when necessary. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Hot and compact

I love this little iron especially for quilting. Its compact so it doesn't get in the way. I do a lot of applique and its perfect for ironing the small pieces to freezer paper. It also gets hot enough to fuse adhesives. The handle folds out of the way and the whole thing fits in a bag to carry to classes. I bought it to replace my Clover Craft iron which never got hot enough. I'm glad I did.Customer Review: Great little thing

I have this iron and a mini iron board in my bedroom and it is great when I have to iron one or two garments in the morning before work. I will only pull out my big and heavy iron and board when doing mass-ironing - which means hardly ever.
The quality is good, it irons well, and it is small enough for travels.

WOW - my sister owns this iron and when we went on a trip together I used hers and it is AWESOME! Using hers prompted me to buy this one and with the price and free shipping from Amazon, you can't beat it. I have a very nice and expensive full size iron, but this works better. I use it all the time now.
