Customer Review: Advancer iron delivers the goods

This is pure and simple the best Rowenta iron I have ever owned. It is a joy to iron clothes with it. Powerful steam action, a large sole plate, many tiny holes in the sole plate, and the composition (alloy material) of the sole plate make ironing a breeze. Yes, it is pretty expensive iron, but you expect to pay more for a quality instrument. At this point, can't tell about longevity -- so far have had it for one month with no problems. Typically I will iron a pair of pants and a shirt every day. They say time is money, and this iron delivers in spades. You can iron clothes with powerful steam action accurately and quickly.Customer Review: I USED TO HATE IRONING...

Well, I won't go so far as to say that I now LOVE ironing, but I certainly don't find it to be nearly as onerous a task as it was before I got this iron.
With this iron's high-power steam (even without pushing the "Burst of Steam" button) difficult set-in wrinkles disappear. And the steam is dispensed from "stem to stern", so the steam reaches even hard-to-reach areas such as in between buttons!
Though I was initially a bit concerned that the iron was heavier than my former iron, I don't notice the difference since it glides so easily over fabrics.
Hate ironing? Then this iron's for you!

I am NOT an "ironer" but with this new iron I am actually enjoying this tiresome task! The DZ9080 gives such a powerful burst of steam the wrinkles just seem to evaporate with the steam! My husband likes his uniform shirts nice and crisp (he's a security officer) and with this new iron it is no longer a "hated" task! Rowenta is a name that speaks high quality and long-lasting products. This is my second Rowenta and the only reason that the other stopped working is because it was dropped several times on a concrete floor by "in a hurry" teens and even at that it lasted about 16 years! This Iron is the most advanced design and excellent quality of its kind.
I was very satisfied wtih its ease of use and very impressed with its performance. This is truly a professional quality Iron as it actually irons and presses even the thickest of materials (such as heavy denim) in half the time it would take an ordinary steam iron. When pressing the steam button on an ordinary iron, you would get a momentary blast of steam. When pressing the steam button on the Rowenta Iron, it delivers a full three to four second blast of steam! I ownned an earlier model Rowenta steam Iron that lasted just over five years.

Believe or not, I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. She had been complaining about the various iron's that she had bought over the years and stated that she wished for a nice iron. I felt a bit odd getting her this as a gift, but she just raves about it. I cannot go into the specifics, but my wife irons eveything and states that this is the best she's ever used. So, is it worth the high dollar price, you bet. It's obvious of the quality of this product, very stout, quite heavy and should last. But, overall, just a great product to use and coming from someone that does a great amount of ironing.
