Big dollars for a steam iron but the some of best money I've ever spent. I bought this for my wife as her 40th wedding anniversary present (just kidding). She just loves it and says it almost makes her look forward to ironing. I've noticed it actually takes her less time to complete her ironing and the clothes looks better. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend--she really likes to iron. It has met all her needs in resounding fashion--with very frequent use it has been reliable and does a great job. She actually gripes a little bit because the iron is heavy enough and the steam is powerful enough that it cuts down on her ironing time, as she only has to do one side of most garments.Customer Review: EXCELLENT!!!

This is the most versatile and powerful iron that I have ever owned. I purchased it at my local Bed, Bath, and Beyond , and I am very satisfied with its performance. As Rowenta and previous reviews say , the crease removal is flawless (very important for a person of my profession), and it also puts creases in very well. I consider myself an ironing aficionado.(I even re-iron my dry cleaning), and I must say this is the best iron I have ever owned. Don't worry about the extra weight of this iron, with all its steam vents, it literally guilds over the fabric. It works as well on difficult fabrics such as linen and equally as well on silk. this iron replaces another R iron which has served for 11 years very well...
the added spray holes are excellent.. does spit a bit but holding the spray button carefully eliminates most of this..
i am 110 % pleased... its worth every cent
