I have always had a the old wooden ironing board and I loved it mostly because of its style :-)
When I bought the Rowenta steam iron, it could not go any longer, the wood was deteriorating. i am just so happy with that board, so large so stable and so sturdy, I wish I had bought it a long time ago ! Same comment as the other reviews, it is heavy, but it means it is more stable too, right !

I hesitated about buying this because of the price, but it is well worth it. Also, i bought it at a store with a discount coupon, which saved me 20%. I ruined irons because they fell off my old wobbly board, but this one is very solid. It will pay for itself in irons saved. Things are easier to iron, and iron much smoother. Has to be the board since I haven't changed irons.Customer Review: Great product!

This ironing board is great. The metal iron holder at end provides extra length so now I can iron long pants legs without moving them. Also the extra width is wonderful. Again, an entire pants leg can be laid out and ironed without moving it several times. THIS PURCHASE WAS ONE OF VERY BEST CHOICES THAT I HAVE MADE. THE SIZE OF THE IRONING SURFACE,THE ADAPTABILITY FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE IN OUR RIGHT MIND, I.E.LEFT HANDED, AND THE STEADINESS OF THE IRONING BOARD MAKE IT SO EASY TO IRON. I IRON A LOT OF LONG,LINEN ALTAR CLOTHS FOR MY CHURCH AND I FOUND THAT THIS BOARD FAR SURPASSED THE PREVIOUS BOARDS THAT I HAVE OWNED.Customer Review: SOLID CHOICE

I bought this board because I was purchasing a Rowenta Steam Generator and wanted something substantial to go along with it. This fits the bill and my wife loves the extra surface area and section to hold the generator. The ability to store folded clothes and hang items on the board is also very helpful. Adjusting the height and folding the board are no problem.
