I have a chihuahua mix that is mostly black and she's hard to see at night. There aren't much street lights either but it's a well trafficed area.
I had intially purchased one of these cheap dog lights and was disastified how well it worked not to mention it wasn't very visiblePet Blinker Dog Safety Light
So i wanted something reflective and also more illuminating.
This did the trick and it fit her small neck well which meant that even the blinking is visible on her sides of her head not just the front.
I did negate one star because the refective part doesn't wrap all around - say if a car is going to run u over from behind.
Shipping was insanely fast!
definitely recommend it if you will walk your dog at night with safety.

I was very pleased overall with this purchase of the
reflective lite-up collar. It performed as stated on the web site. It has clear visibility as cars from about 5 blocks away tend to steer to the other side of the road well in advance (not knowing what the flashing light is).
Others think it is cool too. So now my dog is "Joe Cool" of the neighborhood.
One thing I would change in the design though: The ring where the leash attaches is limited so it is hard to add all the tags and id for the dog. I added another ring from an old collar so it works fine for me now.

The collar functions perfectly and is visible from a far distance. Unfortunately, the glowing part of the collar only goes halfway around the dog's neck. The loop for the dog tags is on the reflective side, so it ends up under the dog's neck. I have a beagle, so her ears obscure most of the lit portion in that position. If the light went all the way around the collar, I would say the item was perfect. As it is, it's the best I've found on the market, but I'm still looking.
