My unit (and many others) had these in our heavier vehicles while deployed in Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. They never failed me and were a great tool. I actually took to carrying one of these along with a Cold Steel Khukri while on foot, since many middle easterners have a deep respect for blade culture. I can point out multiple occasions when I would get a large personal bubble because of the blades I carried, even though I never had to use them in anger. This tomahawk is very well built. the handle looked a little flimsy in the picture but it is really sturdy and really durable the head of the tomahawk is very well designed the balance point is the upper part of the metal collar works great for just about anything and i noticed some people were not happy with the sheath which i actually think is very nice it is really rugged and well built as well the snaps on the bottome are designed so that you can draw the tomahawk quickly because this is designed as a weapon not some hatchet.Customer Review: Excellent Zombie Hunting Tool

I purchased this tomahawk for the sole purpose of slashing zombies. The blade end makes quick work of any flesh, bone, or rabid dog you may encounter. The business end, the spike, is perfect for stopping the zombie in its tracks, the skull puncturing capabilities are perfect for that all important zombie head kill. We all know that the only way to stop a zombie is by puncturing its brain and the lightweight, hard-hitting SOG Tomahawk is the perfect tool to do so...and quietly. Received my SOG F01T Tomahawk today and am very impressed. Has a very nice weight, balance and feel to it.. Definitely has one purpose and it is not for work around the campsite.. My only complaint is the scabbard could be designed better.. It has one loop which will allow it to swing around on your belt or pack.. A Molle style setup would solve this problem and make it more versatile.. As far at the Tomahawk goes ,it is built very well and I look forward to many years of service.. I liked my SOG Jungle Primitive knife so much I decided to get one of these tomahawks. The thing I like the most is the light weight. I usually carry this backpacking when I plan on cutting a decent amount of firewood. A carabiner thru the sheath, clip on and I hardly know it's on my pack. I've been using this pretty hard for over a year without any problems. Edge sharpens up nicely when I get an occasional nick. A rubberized grip would be nice, but I usually have some kind of gloves on anyway.
