The F03T-N is versatile enough to function as a small machete, a limb saw or a hammer. The 9.5-inch, 420 stainless steel blade features a section of small serration near the hilt that can be used to make precise cuts. On the back of the blade is a long, deeply serrated section, which is ideal for sawing through dense foliage. The knife handle features hammer checkering on the bottom for precise placement when pounding, and a scratch-resistant black oxide finish reduces reflectivity.

Customer Review: Loving it thus far.

I read all of the reviews on this knife (good and bad) and decided to give it a try for myself.
The origin of a tool can dictate how well it is made, the quality of the materials used, and so forth, thus the Jungle Primitive being made in China might not site that well with many. I for one was skeptical of the quality as well, but this is not the case.
The blade itself was straight and sharp right out of the box. Most knives I've had to resharpen right from the get go. Full tang and well balanced. Some people might find it too heavy, but to me it's about right to a little light for my liking.
The Kraton handle is well molded around the blade and gives great control while using the knife. And the built in serrations in the pummel gives you the ability to use it as a hammer or to strike/smash things.
The one way serrated spine of the knife works well enough to cut through medium to large branches, just don't expect to fall a full size tree with it (that's what an axe or saw is for).
The only thing that feels and looks cheap to me is the sheath that it comes with... I think I'll make my own or look for one that this will fit in.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this SOG Jungle Primitive knife.
