We have owned an iRobot for a few years now and unfortunately the design of the batteries has a lot of room for improvement. We also have tried replacement batteries from a variety of sites with mixed results (including failure right out of the box!). I bought this for a roomba scheduler. It actually runs longer than the original set by I Robot. I had a extra battery and had it rebuilt locally and it cost $40.00. It's charge only last for about 20 minutes. I found a new replacemant at Amazon for $39.95 and it last for 90 minutes. This is a must buy if you need you battery replaced.Customer Review: Quess that I needed a new battery.

I bought one of those cheap Roomba for under $100 for Christmas. 2 years later it just stopped and played a death tone. I couldn't find any good info on what that tone might mean, but I guess it could be the battery. I was glad to see that I was correct, and now I can lazily vacuum my room again.Customer Review: Great battery replacement
