Description of SensGard ZEM SG-31 Hearing Protection Device NRR 31dB (Black)
The SensGard ZEM SG-31 was designed for high intensity noise environments. Recommended for any noise above 110 decibels, the SG-31 offers the patented Zwislocki protection from damaging noise while allowing speech and other useful sounds to be heard. Locking nylon headband positions the SG-31 firmly and comfortably on your head. The NEW Industrial SG-31 Sensgard Hearing Protection Device provides superior hearing protection in prolonged hazardous noise environments exceeding 105 decibels. Examples of noises 105 decibels and greater include chainsaws, bulldozers, power drills, jackhammers, snow blowers, leaf blowers, jet engines, rifle and pistol fire. I came to know about this product at the shooting club I belong to in Kobe, Japan. I am a keen skeet shooter, and during the season, I also hunt deers and wild boars(those in the US may think I am crazy, as Japan is such a small country with full of people--where to hunt?).
I have used half a dozen ear protectors for my skeet shooting in the past, but none came any closer to this, in terms of effectiveness, simplicity, weight,and ease of maintenance. I have brought back 7 units for my friends, when I visited the US recently. All love this product. In fact, I am hard pressed by others to get more for them as well.
