its a really heavy duty case. i luckily haven't had to use the fireproof or waterproof part of it, but i trust that it would work.Customer Review: Letter sized folders barely fit

Despite the advertised dimensions and the product image showing a letter sized file folder inside the safe, I had difficulty fitting one in because the interior of the safe just isn't wide enough. You can still put a letter sized folder in diagonally, but that makes the already limited space less usable. Other than this the safe is ok quality, it's a firesafe so don't expect too much from the lock, a simple key lock.Customer Review: a bit chinzy

when i got the safe I felt excited about it. For the price it looked like a winner. well guess again. The safe when close will not open. The cheap key i got with it will not open the safe. i can fell the key turning the lock but nothing works right. the safe is fine but the locking mechanisms are crap. what a waste!!
