Tools and Hardware Reviews of Seville Classics SHE18304 18-Inch by 34-Inch by 33-1/2-Inch Industrial All-Purpose Utility Cart, ChromeCustomer Review: Heavy. So order with Super Saver Free Shipping-Arrives quickly. See below. Summary: 5 Stars
This cart is a steal for $60, as indicated by numerous reviews, and I'm going to order another one. It is also available at Costco (online only) for the same price and is available at Target for $110.
Unfortunately Amazon was asking $30 for standard shipping so I opted for their Super Saver free shipping.
Delivery was as follows:
I ordered this cart late on the night of MONDAY, August 2, 2010 (which equated to early morning Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Amazon time) and my order email confirmation indicated the item would be shipped on Monday, August 9 with delivery to be expected between Monday, August 16 and Friday, August 20. I actually received the item early SATURDAY, August 7, at the end of the same week I ordered it.
My point is this:
As I have found on many other occasions, using Amazon's Super Saver free shipping does not result in a delayed shipment, even though the shipping & delivery estimates they give you when you place the order are pretty dismal. For this reason, unless I need something very very quickly, I usually elect Super Saver shipping.
Customer Review: VERY PLEASED Summary: 5 Stars
I love to do card making, scrapbooking and other paper crafts. My supplies are kept in our office/computer room. However, I do my crafting in my kitchen where I can spread all of my machines and supplies out. This means I have to make many trips back and forth to haul everything from one room to the other and back when I'm in a creative mood. I'm going to keep my supplies on this cart and just push it into a closet on my front porch that I don't use. I saw this cart at Sam's Club about 6 months and kept debating on whether or not to buy it for this purpose. After doing some online research I found it here on Amazon cheaper with free shipping, so I ordered it. It was delivered in 3 days and put it together in approximately 30 minutes. I put my Cricut machine and my Cuttlebug embossing machine on the top shelf and purchased six plastic shoe boxes for sorting supplies. Realized that it will hold 10 more shoe boxes. Back to Walmart! Can't wait to start loading it up. It will be a great organizational tool for my craft!
Customer Review: Cheese Making Cart! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a cheesemaker and webmaster for CheeseForum.org and bought this cart to store my cheese making equipment and boxes of soda pop (as cheese press weights) in our laundry room. It is chromed steel, super heavy duty and heavy! Box says holds up to 500 lbs, I put it on families bathroom scales, weight was 21 kg/46 lb! I also bought it at USA Sam's Club.
The shelves of the cart are adjustable on 2 inch/5 cm notches on the vertical posts. They are held at a notch by a split medium hard black plastic wedge that goes around the post at the notch and then the steel shelf slides down the column and over the wedge and compresses it in place to fix the shelf. Unit was easy to assemble except top shelf which was fiddly holding the wedges in place while lowering the shelf over them. Comes with hard plastic sheets to stop small items droping through, picture with 3 boxes high of soda below.
Customer Review: "Cadillac" of carts? Summary: 5 Stars
With the use of "Cadillac" to describe health plans being fashionable, I borrowed the term for this cart. With the Superbowl next week, I could have used John Madden's the "real deal." In any case, this is a great cart, deserving of a superlative: very quick to assemble, needing no tools (though a rubber mallet is handy), it is sturdy and supports more weight than I will ever put on it. The caster wheels are huge, smooth rolling, two are lockable, and they will not mar your floor.
The gentleman who complained about the shipping cost must not have bought it from Amazon, since it is Prime and therefore ships free. Mine actually arrived in 24 hours with no special shipping.
Very good product and very fair price. I don't normally do raves, but there is nothing whatever about this product that I don't like.
Customer Review: Rugged reliability Summary: 5 Stars
This is a ruggedly reliable cart. The shelves have a rim around the outside to keep things from sliding off, and no cross-bars to interfere with laying something flat on them. It took about 10 minutes to assemble; use a rubber mallet to lightly tap down the shelves on the clip-on supports. You can position them in 1-inch increments. Even though it's heavy-duty, it's easy to move (good-sized swivel wheels - two of them can lock). I've bought a number of these over the years to use at work and church. They're all still in use, like-new, and always the first ones to be "appropriated" by someone looking for a nice cart. The quality is far better than any comparable carts. You won't find this at your local store. Shipping was three days, even though I got it on super-saver!
