The Howard Tools Shingle Shear Cutting Tool makes cutting all types of fiberglass and asphalt shingles fast, easy and accurate. Made of durable aluminum the lightweight shear weighs only 16 pounds, and is very easy to handle. The 20-inch blade makes cutting large shingles easy, and the slide-in scale makes this shear much smaller for easier storage and transport. An included inlaid tape measure and angle guide make straight cuts or valley and hip cuts quick and easy. A flip-up roof hook, and rubber feet allow the cutter be used on steep pitched roofs. Cutting laminate shingles can be challenging but this tool allows you to make clean cuts even in cooler conditions. It's light weight makes for easy handling on the roof and the built in measuring scale speeds things up. Our large do it your self job was way less painful with this tool and the reults were great! Well worth the investment.
