I don't usually leave reviews, but I think that the low rating on here is really undeserved, so I wanted to share how happy I am with these charcoals. I've heard good things about them, and since I live in an apartment I share with others, I don't burn massive amounts of incense, so the smaller size didn't deter me. (They're actually a little bigger than what I need, for what that's worth)
Some of the reviewers say these are hard to light, but to be honest, this is my first time using charcoals like this and I thought it was pretty easy! Hold them with tongs over a flame (for example, a candle) for about 30 seconds and it's ready. It's actually not very hard to do. ETA: I recently found myself without any lighters or matches, and found that putting the charcoal on a very hot electric stove burner until it gets hot (does NOT take a very long time!) also works.
I've also had no problems keeping these burning, either, so I'm really pleased with these, and I feel like they lived up to the hype I heard about them. I'll be ordering more when my box runs out!
