Customer Review: Firm support does not equal hard pillow

The only word to describe these pillows is "perfect". They are without question the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on, and I do mean sleep. No more waking up, punching the pillow back into the shape I want, then trying to fall back asleep. Now I fall asleep and don't wake up until the alarm goes off. The pillows are soft and extremely comfortable, but don't equate soft with lack of support, or conversely firm with hard. Your head sinks softly into the foam and is practically cradled by the foam, but under your head the foam compresses and provides the firm support advertised, again firm, but not hard. When I move, roll over, or whatever, the foam instantly springs back up into shape, unlike memory foam. I don't want a pillow where the shape of my head is deeply pressed into the foam for many seconds as the foam slowly resumes its original shape; these latex foam pillows respond to every movement of my head instantly. As I said, the only word needed to describe these pillows is "perfect".Customer Review: The most wonderful pillow ever!

I've been looking for a foam pillow, remembering as a teen I had one and loved it. I never can find a good pillow--my neck hurts, my TMJ would get worse, or my ears would be sore. I have had a very hard time finding a good one, and was thrilled when I found this on amazon. Latex foam pillows are far superior in comfort to the popular "memory foam," which I think is so uncomfortable--I mean, it smooshes down and stays there--how is that support? Latex foam, on the other hand, is light, but so supportive. It's springy--it's gently lifting you up. Anyway, I've had it for about a week and slept better than I have in years. I absolutely love it! Also, I can't believe how fast I got it. When I ordered it it was out of stock, and I chose free shipping. Had it in a few days. Wow! Thanks Amazon. You cannot beat this pillow for a wonderful nights sleep or nap for that matter. Plus, its washable! My former latex pillow made by a different manufacturer was not and thus my reason for buying the Simmons brand. My granddaughters, ages 4 and 8 just love using Grandma's pillows, and at this price I will be buying one for each of them. Doesn't matter if you're a stomach sleeper, back sleeper,or side sleeper, as this pillow adjusts to how you sleep. This talalay latex is 100% better than those memory foam pillows that seem to not bounce back from the shape of your head/face/neck especially in colder climates. And the ten year warranty? Where else can you get a better deal? I will even travel with this pillow, to ensure a decent nights sleep. At first I wasn't sure what to think about the latex pillow. The only pillows I had ever used were cotton or down-filled. Well, it was quite the switch for me. At first I thought the latex pillow was too hard/firm. I was used to pillows that "sank in". After a few nights though I realized my neck felt better than it used to in the mornings. I was getting a better quality of sleep, and I was able to breathe better at night too. I don't think I'll ever go back to those other kinds of pillows again. And the fact that it is dust mite resistant is a big bonus. I have been converted to the latex pillow, what can I say? If you make the switch too, don't just test it one night. Test it for about a week and THEN make your call on whether or not you like it. That's the best advice I can give.Customer Review: Are you kidding me with this?!?!

I can't believe it! I FINALLY found the pillow I've been looking for! I bought a latex foam pillow about ten years ago and haven't found one in any store since! It's all memory foam or some ancient Indian soy bean pillow or some special crazy fancy pillows out now!
So, needless to say, I'm super happy that I found this pillow. It has great support for my neck and shoulders.
The title of my review, however, is regarding the shipping on this item. I ordered this pillow via super saver (free) shipping in December, around Christmas no less, and I swear to God this pillow arrived at my door the very next day! I can't believe it!
