Bought this January 2010. Still LOVE it!
It doesn't lose it's shape or flatten. My last pillow cost more and started to flatten, but it died in the washer.
This you don't need to wash. Just the zippered cover and your pillow case.
Though be careful removing it. It is very "grippy" and my corner tore a lil from tugging at it to get out. It is made with holes all over so they may tear if you pull too hard. I let it air-out a couple days just in case. No issues with smell for me.
I sleep amazingly on it. After sleeping elsewhere, it's like a supportive cloud when I get home. I take it with me and contemplate getting another to leave elsewhere, but think it will be confiscated haha.

In comparison to all the specialty pillows on the market, if you have neck problems, and are looking for a good non-down pillow that offers medium support, going back to basics with this latex foam pillow is a smart choice. Not too hard, not too soft, yet great support and resiliency. Generally, I've found synthetic down to be too fluffy with no support, and memory foam too hard with too much support-like sleeping on a brick. This pillow offers great support in any position (back, stomach, side). Because it's constructed of one piece of shaped foam, it bounces back and holds its shape, no shifting of the fill. I cannot tell you how many pillows I have bought over the past few years. Just know I could probably buy a brand new bed with the money. I have been searching for the "spongey" foam pillow forever. OK, so I never thought about buying them online, because I am viseral and need to touch them. But after trips to the usual places, department stores, specialty stores, bed stores, I just decided to give in and buy online. I haven't had a good nights sleep like this (except in nice hotel stays) in forever. I've been using this pillow for about 6 months now and love it. It's extremely comfortable. I like how it holds it's shape unlike other types of pillows. It also allows more air flow preventing a hot spot on the pillow from my head. I used to wake up every night and flip the pillow over to find a cool spot. I haven't done that once with this pillow. My only complaint is I wish it was a little more firm but that's just my preference and not a real complaint about this pillow. Oh and my nighttime allergies have improved. The pillow does have an odor when you first get it but that goes away after a week or two.Customer Review: I love this pillow!

Its perfect! I've been looking for the right pillow for ages and I finally gave this a shot. I'm so glad I did. Its the perfect height for my head, not flat, but not firm either. The only thing is that I wish it was a little wider. I bought the standard size for a queen size bed and it is smaller than the other standard size pillows I have on my bed. I plan on replacing more of my pillows with these, so will probably buy the queen sized ones. Otherwise, I was fortunate to be really sick when I got this, so couldn't smell the latex odor that others mentioned. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
